When you open a restaurant, the choices that the owner has to make in terms of cuisine are essentially two: to remain anchored to the local traditions or to detach yourself from them and fly towards "foreign" dishes, as such I mean even those in the immediate vicinity. The "Gnà Sara" preferred to remain faithful to her land; today, she can justifiably be proud. Today you can still find things from fifty years ago revisited, refined and lightened on the edge of an evolution that has followed the development of taste. Among the dishes that stand out, we find the appetizers based on the sea (scents of the sea) fritters of a newborn, sardine meatballs caponata di Capone and aubergine. The first course is cous cous with fish and vegetables, busiate with pesto from Trapani, buisate alla matanza, and busiate with sardines and wild fennel. Among the main courses are grilled fish, tuna steak and fish soup.
